Nick Lockyer
After qualifying at Leeds School of Architecture, Nick worked in the Hampshire County Council ‘s Architects Department until 1975. He left to help open and develop an office in Southampton for Watkins Gray Woodgate, an International Practice specialising in large teaching hospitals. In 1978 he became a Partner in a well established local architectural office where he took responsibility for a full range of schools, health, leisure, commercial and specialist housing projects.
Following incorporation of the Practice in 1987 he became Managing Director controlling offices in Winchester and Bournemouth until his resignation in 1991 when he joined George Rankin at Studio Four Architects Ltd.
Nick is an active director in the practice, and works on a consultancy basis maintaining project involvement in a number of schemes.
