Peter Barnett
Pete initially worked as an Architectural Assistant for Wildblood Macdonald Partnership on housing and office conversions. He has subsequently worked as a sole practitioner and on contract for other practices including Hospital Design Partnership Ltd/ Acuitas Ltd – where projects included a Nursing Home and hospital extensions – and Burgess Architects on industrial and commercial properties.
He joined Studio Four Architects in December 1998 and has worked extensively since at Southampton General Hospital. These project have included a new Renal unit, Linear Accelerator bunkers and theatre suites.
Pete has been involved in a number of education projects including Highbury College Tower, Barton Peverill College and other schemes for Hampshire County Council. He has established a reputation for photorealistic images, walkthrough presentations and 3D mapping and is responsible for the Practice IT system. Pete became an Associate Director in 2002 and Director in 2008.
