Studio Four were initially appointed to carry out a feasibility study for a range of improvements to RPLC, including works to the existing changing areas, possible removal of the flume and maintenance to the roof. The study was presented to the council and their operator (DC Leisure) who wished to proceed with refurbishments to the wetside and dryside changing, shower and wc facilities, works to the roof and removal of the flume. The works were combined with extensive replacement and upgrade of the swimming pool plant.
