Dr McEwen and Partners were outgrowing their existing surgery premises which also suffered from poor accessibility. Following the purchase of the adjacent public house, the surgery entrance and administration areas were moved next door to free up clinical accommodation on the ground floor; a lift was incorporated to enable first floor disabled access. The existing surgery is listed, requiring a carefully considered link to the adjacent building; the resulting conversion provides a modern, light and spacious facility for the Practice, which improves facilities for patients and staff alike.
