Chawton Park Surgery, Alton
The redundant boiler house of the Lord Major Treloar Hospital was the site of this new 6-GP surgery. Site de-contamination issues were an important consideration on this brownfield site which has been sculpted to create an opportunity for separate staff access via a first floor bridge.The shape of the building reflects the Client’s requirement for consulting rooms to be arrayed around a central waiting area, topped by a glazed skylight. The building incorporates a pharmacy run by the Practice.
