Planning Approval has recently been granted for extensive works to an existing dwelling in the South Downs National Park.
The proposals involve the creation of a first floor structure to provide additional bedroom accommodation, a ground floor reconfiguration, refurbishments and extensions to provide an improved open plan living space for a young family. The existing dwelling sits on a very steep site and so Studio Four were commissioned to design a new landscaping scheme to allow the new dwelling to better connect to external spaces and to capitalise on the extensive views across the valley. We are currently underway with the Technical Design and we hope to make a start on site in the Autumn.
