Studio Four Architects is a RIBA chartered, award winning practice based in Hampshire and Devon. Although originally specialising in healthcare, our team of around 30 staff now work across a wide variety of sectors.

Our ethos is ‘ownership’. We are a hands-on practice which sees its designs through from sketch concept to final completion on site, problem solving in a creative way.

We manage every part of the process, supporting our clients and leading the design team through all the RIBA stages.

Our primary aim is to produce quality architecture and provide a service that exceeds our client's expectations.

Projects

Healthcare was where Studio Four began, and we have amassed significant experience in the procurement of primary healthcare, hospitals and care homes. Each building type has its own complexities and presents its own challenges.

We have delivered schemes for all aspects of the education sector ranging from pre- and primary schools to colleges and universities. Our clients include the Universities of Winchester, Southampton and Bournemouth, as well as Sparsholt and Barton Peveril Colleges.

It is a privilege to produce architecture that will help shape the next generation.

Our community projects include lifeboat stations, community centres and churches. It is an extremely rewarding sector and we feel fortunate to have worked with organisations to create meaningful spaces that bring people together.

Our portfolio covers private residential projects, student housing and apartments - both large and small scale.

We have an in-house Conservation Specialist with experience working on numerous Listed Buildings.

Our current involvement includes a floating Yacht Club, beach café/restaurants, shops, gyms and children’s play centres.
